About the artist

Welcome to my little corner of colour and imagination!

I'm Nikoletta (but everyone calls me Niki), an artist who loves to capture the wonder tucked inside everyday life - from dreamy forest scenes and curious animals to cosmic landscapes and portraits that celebrate self-love and growth.

I am originally from Hungary and moved to London when I was 17 years old. I started working at this age, so for quite a few years, I did not make art as I was focused on my new responsibilities. Around 2016 I found myself craving to create, so I bought a cheap set of watercolours and started painting. I was hooked immediately and knew I found something special. For a few years, I was painting on and off, and in 2024 I decided to expand my practice and take it seriously. For a full year, I practiced daily with different mediums and subjects, trying to find my style and myself through my art. I also decided to start sharing my journey on social media.
Trying acrylic paints was a turning point for me, I found it behaves in a way that just makes sense for me, so I started focusing on painting on canvas with acrylics. I created numerous paintings of subjects that interest me, such as outer space, landscapes, animals and lately portraits too, I have always been inspired by nature and organic forms. 
I either paint on canvas, canvas board or mixed media board. I also keep several sketchbooks for experiments and new subjects.

Nothing brings me more joy, than sharing my creations with others. I gifted some of my paintings to friends and family, and I can't express the feeling of seeing someone's face light up from receiving something I poured my heart and soul into. It made it clear for me, that this is what I really want to do! So in 2025 I decided to create this website and start selling my paintings, prints and stickers, so I can hopefully bring joy into more people's lives.

A while ago I had an idea for a series of paintings, which feature whimsical animals in nature (a subject I am in love with), so I decided to turn this into a monthly print club. If you would like to follow along this journey, you can sign up for The Eternal Ember Print Club, where I'll send you a 5x7 fine art print, along with two whimsical stickers and a letter about the inspiration. All packaged into a custom made vellum paper, which matches the animal on the current monthly print. 

I think everyone should have a chance to acquire art they love, so I try to make prints and stickers affordable for all. I paint, print and package all of my prints, stickers, greeting cards and bookmarks myself to bring you the best quality and make it personal. From the artist straight to you!
